Kris began his Dance training at age 6 at CHPYC. He then went on to train at Brent Street Studios, The McDonald College and later moved to Melbourne to study at The Australian Ballet School. He moved back to Sydney to complete Certificate IV in Performing arts. Kris has 10 years of experience teaching and choreographing all over sydney.
Laura began her dance training at the age of 3 at The Patricia Stevens Dance Studio. She then furthered her studies by attending The McDonald college and Glenda Yee School of Dance. In 2012 Laura then completed her Certificate IV in performing arts.
Jason Winters, originally from the U.S. has had a long and lustrous career. Not just as a world class dancer for The Walt Disney World Company, Tokyo Disney, Radio City Music Hall, and The Mia Michaels company RAW, but also as an associate choreographer for shows On and Off Broadway, Cirque de Soleil, and So You Think You Can Dance US & Canada to name just a few.
Holly Taylor is an up and coming professional dancer and choreographer. As well as graduating from TNSPA.PROFESSIONAL in 2018 with a Diploma in Performing Arts, she also is a qualified Personal Trainer with her Certificate 4 in fitness and nutrition coaching.
Sydney born and bred, Lauren began her training at Brent Street Studios at eight years of age and continued right through to her fulltime graduation in 2011. Lauren has worked extensively as an actor appearing in Dance Academy (Lulu), Razzle Dazzle (Leanne), All Saints, The Pillowman (Belvoir) and numerous commercials. She has had the privilege of working with some of Australia’s top choreographers including Kelley Abbey, The Squared Division, Mitchell Woodcock, Marko Panzic, Matt Lee and Wil Sabin.
Veronica George (nee Beattie) is a professional Musical Theatre performer. Her versatility is shown through her many credits in Theatre and corporate work including performing alongside Lisa McCune at the Capitol Theatre in the production of Guys and Dolls as a principal dancer, performing in Graeme Murphy’s Tivoli with the Sydney Dance Company, Grease – the Arena Spectacular (Australia & NZ tour) as a dancer and Dance Captain and the musical The Wizard of Oz.
Daniel Wijngaarden Began Training in Dance at the age of 6 training in styles of Ballet, Tap and Jazz before expanding his knowledge in his mid teens to further his training, which saw him work for choreographers and directors such as Marissa Burgess, Neil Gooding, Eli Crawford and Ramon Doringo through various productions and corporate events.
Gaynor in one of the go-to dancers for the most high-profile performance opportunities in the country. Gaynor began her training at Anita Coutts School of Dance in Victoria then moved to Brisbane where she continued her training at Conroy Dance Centre and finally graduated from Brent Street Performing Arts in Sydney.
While still well on her journey as an emerging artist and performer, Sophie has already achieved major milestones that are the envy of the industry. Sophie is most recognised in Australia for her continuous work in New York City with the Radio City Rockettes. Her favourite performance to date would be dancing with The Rockettes at the 71st Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in 2017.
Jessica Smithson completed her certificate IV in performing arts at Brent Street Studios under the guidance of Cameron Mitchell, Lucas Newland, Darren Mapes and other industry professionals. She obtained her HSC at Brent Street Academy whilst training intensively in various styles of the performing arts. Last year, to further her training she attended the Dream Dance Company Show Business Course mentored by Marko Panzic.
Andrew has been dancing since he was 4, finding his love and passion for dance over the years by watching performances from Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake countless times. Andrew has had extensive and quality training in dance, from the Glenda Yee School of Dance, Newtown School of Performing Arts and the Wesley Institute.
Naomi is a highly experienced dancer and choreographer and winner of the Charlotte Kirkpatrick and Dance Archers Award.
I am going into my 16th year of dance training in a variety of styles including commercial and musical theatre jazz, ballet, contemporary/lyrical and hip hop. I have completed this training at dance north academy and a variety of programs/institutes. I have completed grades 2 through to advanced one in RAD ballet and was also lucky enough to complete a year of Academy Ballet’s Aspire part time ballet program under the guidance of Vicki Attard.
Former principal dancer with West Australian Ballet. Ben’s formal ballet training was at The Australian Ballet School from 1998 to 2000 where he graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Dance. His first professional contract was in Smuin Ballet S/F in San Francisco from 2000-2003 with a company that incorporated theatrical elements into the classical structure of the repertoire.
Canadian born and raised in Sydney Australia, training under the technical and artistic eyes of Joan and Monica Halliday. Studying Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Character Dance underpinned with the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus, achieving the Advance level examination. Leslie performed both in Australia and overseas.
Goergette is an honour graduate from the Alvin Ailey School in New York 2014. In her graduating year, Georgette was selected to perform with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in Mr Ailey's renowned work 'Memoria' and toured the Tri-state area with, The Alvin Ailey Junior Company performing at various venues.
Julian is a graduate of The Australian Institute of Music, holding a Bachelor of Music. He has appeared in The Magic Flute as First Boy with Opera Australia, Bernardo in Packemin Production’s West Side Story, and in ATYP’s Award Winning production of Spring Awakening, directed by Mitchell Butel.
Sarah Furnari is a sought-after teacher of acting, musical theatre, singing and dance, with over 10 years of teaching experience in Sydney and the USA.
Jeffery was part of a team called ``Swarm`` dance crew which took out the HHI NZ 2016 in the adult division. He soon qualified to be an official HHI judge in 2018. Jeffery has been working with many dance schools and crews in New Zealand, Zion Studios, Identity dance company, Levings school of dance, Notorious dance studio and many more. Hu is really passionate with teaching and helping the community grow. He also loves traveling and has taught in America, Australia, China.
Chris Merriman a.k.a Kamikazi is a well respected member of many different elements of the hip hop community. Committed to crews Urban Prophetz, the Juse crew, The Next Step & Team 9 Lives for his involvement in the french discipline or parkour / free-running.
Josh began tap dancing at the young age of 4 in his home town Christchurch, New Zealand. He later began training in other styles such as jazz, JFH, hip hop, ballet, contemporary and musical theatre. Josh was able to learn off one of New Zealand's top tap dancers - Daniel Sintes, before moving to Sydney at age 17 to further his training. In 2016, he gained his Certificate IV in Dance after a year of full time training at the Village Performing Arts.
Chris Tsattalios is 27 years old and is a graduate from Brent Street Fulltime 2010. He began training at Kermond Kids Comapany at a young age and then went off to complete his training years at Brent Street. Since then he has the opportunity to work for some of the best.
Thomas Norman, a commercial, contemporary and acrobatic performer completed his Diploma in Dance (Elite Performance) at TNSPA.PROFESSIONALin 2018. Having attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Thomas also has a strong background in ballet, classical and neo-classical training that assists when performing and teaching correct technique and alignment.
Jess has been working and teaching in the commercial industry for the past 10 years. Sharing and giving back her passion for the performing arts industry to our up and coming generation has been a big part of her career. Working along side of artists such as Kylie Minogue, PINK, Jessica Mauboy, Rikki Lee, Havana Brown, The Veronicas, Zara Laarson, Natalie Bassingthwaite, Luciana and many more.
Stephen Perez is one of Australia’s most exciting and dynamic male performers! Immediately recognizable as one of the Top 12 contestants on Season 4 of Channel 10’s So You Think You Can Dance Australia, Stephen has been dancing and acting since he was just 7 years old. His combination of strength, technique, showmanship and dedication has seen him secure his place as one of the most sought after performers in the country.
