Goergette is an honour graduate from the Alvin Ailey School in New York 2014. In her graduating year, Georgette was selected to perform with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in Mr Ailey’s renowned work ‘Memoria’ and toured the Tri-state area with, The Alvin Ailey Junior Company performing at various venues.
In Sydney, Georgette was a company dancer for Austinmer Dance Theatre, Opera Australia (‘Turandot’), Vertical Shadows (‘Compassion’ by Eira Glover), Dance Academy ‘The Come Back’ (the movie).
She had her own permanent contemporary class the Sydney Dance Company Studios and was a dance instructor for high school workshops. Georgette has also taught Jazz, Contemporary and The Lester Horton technique at Naisda Dance Collage, was a Guest Choreographer for Mount St Benedict College. She has completed a Certificate 4 in teaching dance and has been teaching, choreographing and workshopping at minor and major dance schools all over NSW in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern and Body Conditioning.
Georgette has recently moved back to Sydney from London after a year dancing professionally with a few project based companies; Russell Maliphant Company, Exzeb Dance Company and had the opportunity to attend company masterclasses with Artists in Scotland and England.While in London she taught Jazz and Contemporary at Dance Attic Studios and City Academy Studios London.
